History of IDGA’s NCW

IDGA’s NCW is the world’s largest annual gathering of net-centric thinkers and operators and the most respected event focused on network enabled operations.  Drawing hundreds of attendees from across the nation and around the globe, IDGA’s NCW is the place to be every January!

NCW 2009

January 27-30, 2009 • Washington, DC

The theme for NCW 2009 was “Network Enabled Capabilities for Improved Command Decisions” and emphasized the networking and communications needs of the joint US and coalition warfighters.  Great strides were made to enhance battlefield situational awareness for improved safety and effectiveness of the warfighter.  Attendees left the summit with a deeper understanding of operator needs along with current and future capabilities development.

The 2009 NCW Awards™ saw the largest volume of submissions in its history, resulting in an exciting night for all parties involved.  The awards presentations were followed by dinner, entertainment, and a wine tasting.
